1. Data controller
- Owner: Abraham Entenza Costas (trading name: Oucy Records)
- NIF: 53786887F
- Address: Calle magallanes 1
- Email: contacto@oucyrecords.com
2. What data we process
- “Submit your demo” form: artist name, email, country, contact language, genre, track title and private link, audio file (if you upload one), links to your socials, bio, credits and samples, and the confirmations you tick.
- Contact form: name, email, subject and message.
- Security: to prevent abuse we store an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (not the IP itself) and where your visit came from (for example, a link in one of our posts).
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To listen to and assess your demo, reply if we're interested and, where appropriate, prepare the licence agreement. Basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To reply to your contact messages. Basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To protect the website against spam and abuse and to know which posts bring us demos. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To assess demos we use technical audio analysis and assistance tools (including artificial intelligence). These tools do not receive your email or contact details. A person always makes the decision on each demo: we do not take decisions based solely on automated processing.
When you submit a demo you'll receive one automatic acknowledgement email. We won't send you marketing.
4. How long we keep it
- Declined demos: deleted, together with their audio, 12 months after the decision.
- Approved demos: for as long as the relationship lasts and then for as long as legal obligations require.
- Contact messages: up to 24 months.
- The record of your consent is kept together with the data it refers to.
5. Who we share it with
We don't sell or share your data. It is processed on our behalf, under contract, by our hosting provider (in the European Union), our email provider and the providers of our analysis and assistance tools. If any of them processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so with GDPR safeguards (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability of your data, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to contacto@oucyrecords.com and quoting your demo reference if you have it. If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local authority.
7. Minors
If you are under 14 you may not send us your data. If you are under 18, any agreement will require the authorisation of your parents or guardians.
